My work currently includes :

• All types of domestic electrical installation work
• Major installations (new Consumer Units a.k.a. "fuse box", ring-main circuits, full re-wire, garage, cookers, showers, under-floor heating etc.)
• Minor Works (new sockets / switches, smoke alarms, outside lighting etc.)
• Special locations (bathroom, kitchen, garden etc.)
• Notifiable Works - I will self-certify on behalf of local government Building Control
• All installation work fully Tested, Certificated, Insured (and Warranted by NICEIC)
• Periodic Inspection Reports (PIR), now known as Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR), e.g. landlords, house sale
• "PAT" Testing (Portable Appliances) and minor repairs
• Also, alarms fitted, TV / FreeView / FreeSat / stereo / PC set-up.

My qualifications are :

• NIC EIC * approved Domestic Installer (Reg.Num. D600462) / "Part P" self-certifying Competent Person (Full Scope).
• City & Guilds 2382 - L3 Requirements for Electrical Installations (a.k.a. IET Wiring Regs) BS7671-17^th Edition
• City & Guilds 2392 - L2 Fundamental Inspection, Testing And Verification
• City & Guilds 2377 - L3 Inspection And Testing of Electrical Equipment
• EMTA Awards Ltd (EAL) Domestic Electrical Installers, including “Part P” and other Building Regulations
• Chartered Engineer (Engineering Council)
• Member of The IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology, previously IEE)
• BSc(Hons) Electrical & Electronic Engineering (University Of Leicester)
• Ex-BAE SYSTEMS electrical & systems design/build/install/test engineer
